Graphic Research Technologies is the electronic
contract assembly division of Graphic Research, Inc. GTEK specializes in SMT/Thru Hole, Prototypes and rework assemblies for either consignment or turnkey. Our focus is to provide our customers with reliable, quality products that meet or exceed customer requirements with on time delivery. Quality comes first at GRT where every board is soldered with utmost precision. Our highly trained assembly personnel are dedicated and strive for zero defects. All assemblies and prototypes are fabricated to rigid manufacturing guidelines, based on the customer's assembly drawing and bill of materials. From Gerber data and / or CAD files our Circuit cam software is utilized to develop the following: The assembly drawings and visual aids, the program for the pick and place machines, a through hole forming list, routing diagrams, quality process reports and a work in process traveler.
GTEK follows quality standards IPC-A-610C and ANSI/J-STD-001C through out the shop. Before any assembly is sent to the line, it goes through a vigorous incoming inspection, which includes verification of component part number, values, type (i.e.: smt or thru hole), quantity description of part from BOM. If a kit has any discrepancies, or shortages, a written form will be filled out and faxed to the customer describing the discrepant parts and shortages. Once kit is complete, it will be sent to the assembly area for assembly. In doing this GTEK is able to keep the cost down, because a known complete kit will move smoothly through the production processes.
ESD controls are maintained throughout the manufacturing area. The floors have static guard dissipative floor finish, all machines and tables are grounded to a common ground at a drilled metal stake at a water table. Any one in the manufacturing area must wear a tested wrist-strap. All employees wear static dissipating wrist and foot straps, which are tested before and after every shift.
All material and kits are maintained and moved throughout the production floor in conductive bin boxes on wheeled metro racks. The touch -up and rework stations are setup with ionized air blowers. All finished goods are shipped in static shielded bags and placed in a separated box with bubble pack for shipment to the customer.
A list of our assembly, printed wiring and flex circuit equipment will be furnished on request.
